The Liner Unit is a high-performance linear drive unit based on an adaptation of the Roller Drive principle.
The Liner Unit is driven by a servo motor and thus achieves high accelerations and speeds. The carriage moves along a linear rail, enabling long-distance transport of loads of different weights that is not possible with conventional mechanisms.
Even for long strokes that are difficult to achieve with other devices, the Liner Unit can be easily used by simply connecting additional rails. Since the drive rail and servo motor are placed axially, space is saved and the load distribution is excellent.
