IO Systems junction boxes active & passive
Our new CONEC IO junction boxes can be flexibly adapted to a wide range of requirements - from simple signal distribution to intelligent communication with control systems. Depending on the application, passive distribution solutions are available for the uncomplicated distribution of signals without their own intelligence, as well as active IO boxes with integrated electronics. Our active distribution boxes enable direct and efficient connection to controllers via common communication protocols such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, and IO-Link, and can be seamlessly integrated into existing automation environments. Thanks to compact designs, robust versions and userfriendly connection technology, quick installation, low wiring effort and high operational reliability are guaranteed even under demanding industrial conditions. Our IO solutions help you to make your processes more efficient, reduce costs and sustainably improve clarity in the control cabinet or directly in the system. CONEC also provides the appropriate connectivity technology – from various distribution systems to custom-assembled connection cables.

M12x1 Connector series with bayonet quick locking
The CONEC connector series with bayonet quick locking system allows safe and quick locking even in areas that are difficult to reach and/or not visible. With the "three-point" bayonet locking it is possible to lock the connection by hand with a 90 ° turn. You get a direct tactile and acoustic feedback as soon as the connector is locked. The connectors are designed according to the draft standard IEC CD 61076-2-011/Ed1. In order to meet the mechanical requirements with regard to tightness to dust and liquid media in industrial environments, no additional tools are required for the new M12 bayonet version by CONEC. When locked, the requirements of protection degrees IP65, IP67 and IP69K are met. In addition, the new series is shock and vibration resistant according to the railway requirements IEC 61373:2010, class 1B. The CONEC bayonet locking variant thus offers simplified handling and at the same time secure transmission of signals and data to the user. The coupling sockets with solder pin termination are also equipped with an internal thread in the mating area, thus ensuring 100% backwards compatibility with standard M12 connectors. This means that new systems can be equipped with the M12 bayonet on the device side without any concerns. The M12 bayonet series is presented as standard in the codings A and D. The PCB sockets are available in axial and angled form for back panel mounting and a panel thickness of 2.2 mm. Other codings and socket variants are available on request.

CONEC Hybrid Connector series B12, B17, B23, B40
CONEC Hybrid connectors soon to be certified according to IEC standard 61076-2-118. For conventional cabling of electric motors, servo drives or power supply units or linear units/drives, a great deal of wiring work is required. Separate lines for power and data/ signal transmission are used for different, separate tasks. This wiring concept is not only expensive, but also needs a lot of construction space and is expensive to install and maintain. Due to the constantly increasing cost pressure and the miniaturization of end devices, in combination with an increasing data volume and high transmission speeds, new solutions for more efficiency in the field of wiring are in demand. Wiring of the power supply and the control of motors and servo drives is exemplary. Until now the conventional approach, each individual motor is wired separately and elaborately to the control cabinet, with the decentralised approach, many consumers are linked with standard connecting cables via a "daisy chain". With the newly developed CONEC Hybrid connector series (B12, B17, B23, B40), a compact hybrid connector system has been developed which combines and transmits the power supply and data transfer to CAT5 via a specially developed hybrid cable. This one-cable technique corresponds to modern connection and interface wiring technology and saves space, time and costs. With the angled B23 hybrid receptacle, it is possible to equip servo drives with an output of more than 20 kW with a one-cable solution. By turning the cable outlet in 18 steps, the receptacle can be adjusted to the respective installation situation in the machine and allows a stress-free connection of the cable regardless of the assembly situation. Locking of mated connector is secured with a bayonet fastener, so that a time-consuming screw connection by means of a torque wrench is no longer necessary. A quarter turn ensures a secure connection and IP67 protection class.

Circular Connectors M8, M12, 7/8", Rund24
High-performance connector technology is the basis for industrial networking of devices, machinery and manufacturing plants. Circular connectors are used in many applications in automation engineering. In addition to the transmission of analogous and digital signals and data transmission with high bandwidth, the application as supply connector also counts amongst their fields of application. CONEC offers circular connectors in the in the sizes M8, M12, 7/8“and Round24. Available are connectors with mould-on cable or tailored for special applications as well as BUS systems and panel mount connectors.

Power also for miniaturized interfaces – Series M12x1 L-coding
Electric drives, devices and servo motors are increasingly used in the field directly in the machine or plant. In addition to signals and data, more and more power has to be transmitted. Miniaturization in automation means that field devices and controllers are becoming ever smaller. Connectors overmoulded: The finished overmoulded connecting cables are ready for installation and optimally protected against environmental influences and manipulation by the resistant TPU overmould. The required installation space for these axial or angled versions is also kept to a minimum. The cables have a TPU cable sheath as standard, whereby other cable qualities are optionally available. The overmoulded M12 L-coded connectors require 30% less installation space compared to a 7/8" connector. Due to the high current carrying capacity of 16 A with a strand cross-section of 2.5 mm², they are also able to ensure the power supply of devices via a miniaturised interface. Sockets: The socket connectors for device mounting are available in different versions. Socket connectors are available for both front and rear panel mounting. If required, key surfaces provide anti twist protection in the housing. Axial sockets with stranded wire connection in male and female design are currently available. In addition, angled PCB sockets in female design for direct PCB mounting are available. Connectors field attachable: Axial female and male variants are available for the connectors that can be assembled; these are designed with a screw connection for a strand cross-section of up to 2.5 mm². The advantage of the screw contacts is that they can be assembled very easily and several times. The maximum connection cross section of 2.5 mm² and the very compact design (outer diameter 23 mm only) make it possible to transmit maximum power with this connector system.

Connectors for agricultural and construction machinery
The degree of automation is also constantly increasing in agricultural, construction and municipal technology and thus the need to equip machines with sensors and other electrical components. ISOBUS-Series With the increasing demands for efficiency in agriculture, precision farming is becoming more and more important. Precision Farming stands for the targeted management of agricultural land, such as the application of fertiliser and pesticides according to need, depending on the position on the land. To ensure the necessary communication between tractor, implements and agricultural management software, the manufacturer-independent ISOBUS is used. DT-Serie/VSS-Superseal Series Whether tractors, excavators or heavy construction machinery, the IVCM (Industrial Vehicles and Construction Machines) segment places high demands on the connectors used.The overmolded versions of the DT and VSS Superseal connector series developed by CONEC offer optimum protection even in the most difficult applications such as underground, at temperatures below zero or in dusty, hot environments. Junction system typs S, M, L The new CONEC junction system type S, M, L provides a flexible way to integrate moulded branches/outlets into electrical connecting lines such as e.g. cable harnesses. CPC connector series In addition to agricultural and automotive engineering, CPC connectors are frequently used in control cabinets, robotics, injection moulding machines and machine tools. This design is a robust connector which, in contrast to the previous agricultural connectors in the CONEC product range, has a threaded connection with positive detent and is smaller in size than, for example, an Isobus connector. Both, single and double outlet versions for the cable, as well as termination caps, are available.
