Nabtesco is one of the leading international specialists in the development, design, and manufacture of precision gears. Its product portfolio includes cycloidal gears and strain wave gears and is the most extensive and deepest in the field of precision gears on the market. The high-performance reduction gears cover a wide range of applications. They are used in, among other things, machine tools, industrial robots (over 60 percent of all industrial robots worldwide use Nabtesco products), handling, packaging technology, and factory automation. Neco® series
The user-friendly gears of our Neco® series have made robot technology accessible in conventional machine and plant engineering. The ready-to-install servo gearboxes set standards with respect to design, corrosion protection, motor interface and modularity, in order to achieve huge leaps in performance. Now we have expanded the successful series to include models that are dimensioned for heavy-duty applications. Neco®HT high-torque gearboxes deliver torques of 3,800 to 9,000 Nm and guarantee high-precision positioning in applications with high weights and forces. They feature a unique level of modularity and standardisation, which ensures cost-effective series production and high availability.
Strain wave gears
Strain wave gears are characterized by absolute zero backlash, excellent repeat accuracy and a high torque capacity - all with small dimensions and low weight. We can also design all strain wave gears individually and tailor the performance, geometry, material, interfaces and gearbox properties precisely to your application, including function, component and system integration if required. This means that you do not have to compromise on the design of your machine or robot. Our motto: It is not the application that has to be adapted to the gearbox, but the gearbox to the requirements.
Digital strain wave gear
Our digital gearboxes combine high-precision, backlash-free strain wave gear technology with smart sensor technology and artificial intelligence - without any change in size. The strain wave gears meet all the requirements for integration into intelligently networked and digital production processes and make a decisive contribution to increasing efficiency, optimizing performance, conserving resources and improving cost-effectiveness. All in all, this results in potential savings in the double-digit percentage range.
Short gears
Strain wave gear technology with impressive performance improvement: The Nabtesco strain wave gears have been equipped with new detailed designs through changes to the gearbox geometry. As a result, every core component has been optimized. Convince yourself of 120% power density, 140% service life (10,000h, market standard 7,000h) and all this with the same size.
