The Mechafant is an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) with a payload capacity of up to 1,400 kg. Designed for busy environments with unpredictable obstacles, it navigates safely, flexibly, and reliably through close proximity to humans – the perfect solution for demanding logistics and intralogistics applications. Thanks to its hydraulically driven lifting module with forks, the AMR can pick up and place entire Euro pallets directly from the floor. It can also transfer Euro pallets up to a maximum height of 3,000 mm. Positioning accuracy is less than +/- 10 mm. Pallet position is detected using image processing. Safety and efficiency are certified according to ISO 3691-4. The Mechafant can be reliably deployed in a variety of applications. Integration into existing logistics and production systems ensures smooth operation. Specially developed software handles traffic control, job distribution, and AMR operation. It distributes transport requests to the most cost-effective available AMRs, comparing vehicle routes based on the required travel distance to the destination. A very wide range of applications is possible thanks to the standardized pallet format. Suitable for all types of material transport in production, logistics, and automation. Ideal for bridging large distances or when systems and machines are located far apart and a continuous material flow needs to be established. Please refer to the datasheet for further information.
