αSTEP AZX Series – Servo Motor with Mechanical Multiturn Encoder

Battery-free absolute positioning up to ± 900 (or ± 1,800) revolutions via integrated mechanical multiturn encoder (ABZO). Designed for positioning and continuous operation: delivers high torque even at high speeds (up to 5,500 min⁻¹) thanks to SPM technology – with up to 3× higher peak torque compared to the AZ Series.

Available in round-shaft or planetary gear versions (frame sizes 60–120 mm), with optional electromagnetic brake.

Features advanced control and diagnostics, including sequence control (timers, loops, conditions) via MEXE02 software.

Supports communication via fieldbus (EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET) or digital I/Os. Operates with the same logic as the AZ Series – ideal for high-performance, precise, and maintenance-free automation solutions.
