Furthermore, local processing improves data protection and security, as less sensitive data needs to be sent over the network.

peptech provides a modular Edge Device platform that allows edge devices to be modified and expanded for specific applications, thus capturing a wide range of specific sensor data in the form of analog and digital data. The core component is a carrier board with a System on Module (SoM) featuring peptech's proprietary interfaces for connecting four modules for analog and digital signals. The carrier board also features two Ethernet interfaces and two USB 3.0 interfaces.
