XPlanar - Planar motor system

XPlanar is an innovative transport system from Beckhoff that combines traditional conveyor technologies with magnetic levitation technology.

The system offers nearly unlimited flexibility, as the movers can move freely over individually customizable tiles with up to six degrees of freedom, including 360° rotation. This creates new possibilities for product production and transport. Thanks to integration with the TwinCAT software environment, the XPlanar can be easily configured, with precise position control and efficient path planning. This maximizes the system's flexibility while minimizing maintenance effort.
