About us
The company Ott Antriebstechnik is a traditional company in the electrical industry, which is growing sustainably and has been taking its central place for decades in the supply of various customer groups at home and abroad. For more than 70 years, the family business has earned a great reputation for the numerous products as well as for the flexibility and the good service.
We see ourself as a producer, modifier and distributor of motors and controls and we are known as a reliable business partner. Therefore, we focus on the quality and durability of our products.
As a representative of Nidec, Transtecno, Kaleja, DKM and Ewellix we have about 100.000 motors and controllers on stock. This makes it possible to react quickly to the requirements of our customers.
In our production, customer-specific modifications to motors, such as shaft machining, construction of incremental encoders and plug connections are realized. These special productions are also carried out in the smallest quantities. This allows complete system solutions to be configured and manufactured according to your requirements.

Ott DC motors
Brushed DC motors are very robust, simple but also technically very stable drives. The DC motors from Ott Antriebstechnik are characterized by high tightening torques, compact designs and, above all, a very durable and robust design. Ott BLDC motors
Brushless DC motors are highly dynamic, compact drives for applications with very long operating times. Our BLDC motors are characterized by high power densities, high overload capacity, long service life and freedom from wear and maintenance. Ott AC motors
AC motors are characterized by a particularly compact design and are therefore ideal for the smallest installation spaces. They are available in single-phase and three-phase versions. The robust and wear-free design also enables a long service life. Ott Linear actuators
Linear actuators convert the rotational movement of a motor into a push/pull movement. They have been specially developed for all types of applications where lifting, pulling or pushing movements with a certain force are required.With our programmable motor controls, soft starts and flexible end stops can be easily implemented and manufacturing tolerances can be compensated for. Ott Controllers
Controllers are available for DC and BLDC motors with peak currents up to max. 225A. Basically, a distinction is made between simple, non-programmable controls and A distinction is made between programmable motor controllers for complex positioning tasks. These controls are easy to network and have, for example, CAN-Open, EtherCAT and ProfiNet interfaces. Ott Switching power supply
The switched-mode power supply units are available in 1-phase and 3-phase versions. Furthermore, our switched-mode power supplies have various protection mechanisms, e.g. against short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overheating. Due to their good efficiency and their compact and lightweight design, they are ideal for applications where the available installation space is limited. They can be used universally and can simply be snapped onto the DIN rail. They are also suitable for output voltages of 24V and 48V as well as for rated currents of up to 40A and outputs of up to 960W.
Ott Accessories
Radio interference suppressors, cable sets, connectors, incremental encoders, potentiometers, shafts and plug-in axles, also according to drawings. We usually deliver laser parts and much more immediately from our warehouse.
