Digital shift book
Did you know that the most process-critical time is the first 30 minutes after shift handover? With Peakboard, you can organize a smooth shift change, even in stressful times. On top of that, you digitize your time-consuming and error-ridden paper shift plans. The overview of all shifts and employees is often lost in the paper clutter. Changes in the analog shift book are complicated and slow, which can lead to communication problems and errors during shift handovers. Paper-based systems also carry the risk of important documents being lost or damaged. With Peakboard, you always have all relevant information stored and up-to-date to ensure safe operations. During or after a shift, employees can quickly and easily record the most important points on a screen, either via a touch function or using a mouse and keyboard. Other team members can also add comments to the messages to further simplify communication. The shifts, positions, categories of entries, and names of teammates can be customized directly in the central data management and communication platform, Peakboard Hub. The entries are reliably stored in Peakboard Hub – so nothing gets lost! Download this template for free to test the application directly. In addition to Peakboard Hub lists, you can also use SQL, Oracle, or ODBC as a data source.

Digital shopfloor meeting
Regular team meetings are the core principle of successful shop floor management, where team members can discuss the most important things in a concise format. This includes an overview of open tasks and who is responsible for them, a summary of the status of work progress, and conclusions about the further course forward. In addition, the team also checks relevant key production figures or disruptions that occur in the value-added process. The aim of a shop floor meeting is to minimize information gaps and make work processes more efficient. This also reduces the stress placed on the employees because they are not constantly “putting out fires.” Instead, you can act preventively. More transparency in your processes If a conventional whiteboard stands at the center of your weekly shop floor meeting, you are probably also struggling with outdated or lost information. Thanks to our low-code software, Peakboard Designer, you can set up a customized digital dashboard for your meeting in no time and keep an eye on all of your team’s tasks at all times. To get started even faster, you can use our ready-made template to create new tasks, assign them to individual employees, and change the processing status. Whether it’s a standard monitor or a touchscreen, you can interactively update your dashboard if a process changes. Best of all, the data is also written back to the pre-configured data sources, eliminating the need for duplicate maintenance. In addition, you have the option to display other dashboard views that show relevant production information, such as safety and quality indicators, downtimes, scrap rates, cycle times, or OEE values that you can discuss at your shop floor meeting.

Digital Twin in LASAL
The LASAL software development environment from SIGMATEK supports model-based development and virtual commissioning with the Digital Twin. In this process, together with 3D models of the mechanics, a complete digital twin is created for the physics-based 3D simulation. It acts as a valid basis for the detailed software development, electrical planning and design of a machine or plant. This makes it possible to virtually represent, simulate, test and validate all development steps from planning to commissioning - whether individual machine functions or complete systems.

Digital Twin: Added Value Through the Integration of Functionality and Data.
By linking functionality and data, a significant improvement in system quality is achieved even before delivery. Visit our booth to learn what this means for you

Digitalization
At HEITEC, digitalization is a fundamental component of our strategy and is a function that spans across all our business areas. After 15 years of accumulating in-depth experience and knowledge in the fields of digital engineering and smart factory, we are constantly expanding our range of digitalization solutions. We not only focus on the development of new technologies, but also exploit the potential of existing, modern technologies for maximum efficiency.

Digitization of machinery
Our understanding of Industrial IoT and Industry 4.0: At FEGA & Schmitt, we have been intensively engaged with Industrial IoT for several years and have a wide variety of solutions in use ourselves. These range from a MindSphere application for determining the overall equipment availability (OEE) of our own machines to a visualization solution (augmented reality) to support our logistics and maintenance staff. All these applications have one thing in common: they are extremely cost-intensive and require extensive consulting, as well as a high level of project management expertise for seamless integration into production. These are resources you need to consider when implementing such a solution in your company.

Direct laser marking on the product
Products made from recycled material have not just been in vogue since 2022. However, the recycling cycle usually ends at this point, as labels in combination with water-insoluble adhesive are required for product labeling and thus, the possibility of recycling ends. Continue the recycling cycle through direct laser marking on the product. Replace labels, ink, sleeves and water-insoluble adhesive with a laser marking. Through the neutral behavior of the laser additives in the recycling process, with a recycled material base a 100% recyclability will be given.

Distance sensor FT 55-RLAM
Thanks to excellent sensor characteristics with a class 1 laser, a wide scope of functions and intuitive use, SensoPart’s triangulation sensor FT 55-RLAM represents a new generation of distance sensors. The sensor is available in several different operating ranges, extending up to 1 m. It is a true allrounder, reliably detecting surfaces from black to shiny. Equipped with an analogue output, two switching outputs, an IO-Link interface and optional RS485 interface, the sensor offers extensive connectivity. It also comes with an innovative and user-friendly operating concept with a large LCD display, which is unusual in this price range. This unique combination of characteristics makes the sensor ideally suited for diverse applications, for example in machine construction, the automotive, plastics and packaging industries or in robotics applications.

Drive solutions with ASi-5
AS-Interface (ASi) has long been an established feature of drive control. This is where the advantages of the globally standardized wiring system are especially conspicuous: the simplest installation thanks to the piercing technology, free selection of topologies, high flexibility and low costs. For many years Bihl+Wiedemann has been offering the ideal drive solution for many different applications – including roller drives, AC drives with and without frequency converter, as well as for 24 V motors. Our range of solutions is focused on leading manufacturers such as Lenze, SEW-Eurodrive, Itoh Denki, Interroll, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS and RULMECA. We also develop custom ASi solutions on request.

Drives – Drive Technology
THE SINGLE AND MULTI AXIS DRIVE PACKAGE FOR THE OEM INDUSTRY COMBIVERT - will be 40 years soon the synonym for frequency converters and servo systems – Made by KEB. Universally designed for the operation of asynchronous, synchronous, spindle, torque, linear and special motors, we today refer the drive electronics as Drive Controller. DRIVE CONTROLLER Whether controlled or regulated, with or without encoder, in the system with three-phase or servo motors: outstanding shaft characteristics are the basis for precise speed, torque and position control. The control algorithm ASCL (Asynchronous Sensorless Closed Loop) and SCL (Synchronous Sensorless Closed Loop) are benchmark for sensorless operation of motors in a unique broad of applications. 0.37 kW … 45 kW / 230 V 0.75 kW … 800 kW / 400 V SUPPLY-/REGEN UNITS from 11 kVA up to 1,000 kVA feed the generator-based regenerativ energy in temporary and continuous processes back into the mains power supply and reduce the operating costs in an environmentally friendly way. EMC, SINE WAVE AND HARMONIC FILTERS As passive components, the KEB solutions dampen external influences or reactions in systems; prevent premature aging of motor windings or overloading of the supply networks due to harmonics. Compliance with legal standards for line and radiation-related emissions is part for high functional and reliable operation of machines. BRAKING RESISTORS take up the regenerative pulse energy in intermittent operation.
