gateways and extension modules expand the modular bus system range

For our modular bus system (MBS), which connects pushbuttons and switches to industrial communication systems, we are now offering new gateways and extension modules. Those were equipped with additional components such as an RFID interface, which help to manage access to machines or operating units.

Industrial networks more often play an important role in industrialised work processes. In particular, the industrial Ethernet offers significant advantages: The management of big data packages, the fast and easy processing of information and the adaptation to special conditions of operation in the industrial sector make processes more transparent, safe and efficient.

The gateways for Profinet (PN_GW_HS_01), Ethernet/IP (EN_GW_HS_01), EtherCAT (EC_GW_HS_01) or Powerlink (PL_GW_HS_01) each have an interface to our modular bus system (MBS). The MBS enables an easy connection of pushbuttons and switches to the network and the control. Other units like potentiometers or RFID readers can be operated through the integrated A/D converter resp. the integrated RFID control unit.
