NECTA is a rugged, bus-powered CMOS USB3 line-scan series for industrial metrology, sorting, and machine vision.
In this demo, the NECTA model N2K2-7C-C pairs with the Genesi GEVX Power Bar, focusing high-intensity light for perfect exposure at 95 kHz. The camera syncs with the encoder via I/O to ensure distortion-free images.
Key Innovation: The "Virtual Photocell."
On-board processing analyzes brightness to trigger line stitching via Python, eliminating external sensors.

The "𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘦" application developed to showcase the performance of the 𝗔𝗕𝗦𝟲𝟬𝟲𝗗.
Thanks to the internal encoder, the system recognises the 20 different coloured segments of the wheel and sends the signal to the controller, thus allowing the camera and LED illuminator to be synchronised.
The demo integrates the 𝗚𝗘𝗦𝗧𝟵𝟵 𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 and 𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 (𝗥𝗚𝗕𝗬𝗪) 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 from Genesi Elettronica and 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗔 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮 from Alkeria, with real-time data display via the controller's web interface.
