CMS Automatisme is a manufacturer of special machines who programs robots and automatons and propose machining of mechanical parts since 1986. Our engineers in the design departments for mechanics and automation & software use new technologies and are your partner for your automation projects. As a recognized Industry 4.0 solution provider for the Grand-Est region in France, we propose high-tech special machines and implement new technologies. Our 90 employees combine the skills required to manufacture your special machine from A to Z. We then install the machines on your production site, put them into operation and train your staff. That is why digitalization and data feedback play an important role. This is the only way to guarantee “predictive maintenance” and a qualitative and uninterrupted production. Remote maintenance by an integrated modem and cameras in the machine is the ideal system for quick maintenance and customer support. Special machine construction - Automation and robotics
CMS Automatisme designs and builds custom machinery. We offer complete solutions: robot cells or linked automated production lines, all manufactured at our facility. Our engineers and technicians in our mechanical and automation & software design offices provide technical support to define and implement your requirements for custom machinery, automation, and robotics. Our dedicated and skilled automation technicians program industrial robots and cobots from various brands (ABB, FANUC, KUKA, STÄUBLI, Universal Robots, etc.). As custom machine builders, we thus complete our range of services. Our mechanical design office is responsible for the design of your custom machine, and our automation technicians then program robot cells and complete production lines. Our automation engineers program the PLC controller (Siemens, Schneider Electric, Beckhoff), industrial and collaborative robots using the appropriate programming languages depending on the interface. With optimized robot path design, we guarantee improved productivity. Our technicians will advise you on choosing the right robot to deliver a high-performance machine.
Machining
CMS Automatisme is your partner for mechanical manufacturing, precision mechanics, and contract manufacturing. We produce prototypes, individual parts, small to medium-sized series, as well as mechanical assemblies. We machine all materials: all types of steel, stainless steel, plastics, and aluminum alloys. Thanks to our experience in project management for special-purpose machine construction, we offer a complete service. This includes the production of workpieces, the procurement of standard components, the machining of workpieces, and the assembly of components. We perform various machining processes: CNC and conventional milling (position-controlled 3- and 5-axis milling, 5-axis simultaneous machining, CNC turning, surface and external cylindrical grinding, etc.). For increased precision, we use a wire EDM machine and perform alignment and adjustment work with surface and external cylindrical grinding. With our large boring mills, we also meet requests for steel construction and castings. We place great emphasis on the quality of our production; therefore, the workpieces are inspected using three-dimensional metrology. To expand our services, we have acquired a new laser engraving machine. This allows us to personalize your workpieces and engrave important information directly onto the workpiece, such as the serial number. We also take care of surface treatment (painting, blackening, phosphating, zinc plating, chromating, anodizing, etc.) and heat treatment (hardening, tempering, nitriding, stress-relief annealing, etc.).
Conveyors
The reliable design of CMS conveyor belts enables the precise and safe transport of parts of all kinds. CMS Convoyeurs offers a variety of belt conveyors that can be adapted to your specific needs (depending on the size and weight of the parts) to ensure consistent productivity. Thanks to our over 30 years of experience in industrial automation, we develop high-quality and proven belt conveyors. We offer mini conveyors with integrated and compact motors, as well as models capable of handling up to 150 kg.
IWI®, the AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) by CMS Automatisme
YOUR PARTNER FOR INNOVATIVE AND MODERN PRODUCTION LOGISTICS IWI® is an AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) that moves autonomously without external guidance aids. Using artificial intelligence, the software calculates the robot's optimal path in its environment. In contrast to a classic AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle), the AMR does not require any orientation aids such as floor markings or rails. AUTONOMOUS The AMR moves autonomously to an unlimited number of stations, which can be selected simply by clicking on the map. FLEXIBLE We are your partner for complete solutions (mechanical adaptation, programming, communication) for a perfect integration into your production environment. INTUITIVE With the intuitive user profile on the tablet the customer can easily reprogram the AMR to adapt it to changes in the production process.
