Medical technology: Inspection systems – safety with no ifs or buts.

For both medical technology and pharmaceuticals: people’s safety is the top priority. In the production of medical equipment such as syringes, pipettes and containers of medicine, every defective part must be detected and rejected early on. Inspection systems from OCTUM for this sector comply with all the relevant standards, such as GAMP5 and 21 CFR Part 11, and offer manufacturers of medical equipment the necessary peace of mind in the knowledge that only defect-free products will go into circulation. Our inspection solutions cover areas including: - Syringes (glass, plastic) - Pipette tips - Dressing materials - Wells - Cups - Tubs and trays - Plastic bottles - Calibrators - Containers (glass, plastic, metal) - Cleanroom bags - Pharmaceutical film - Dialysis filters - Blood collection tubes - Candle filters

    2. MES / PDA / MDA

      MES / PDA / MDA

In many production plants, manual production data acquisition (PDA) is often a time-consuming and error-prone process. There is often no clear and quick feedback on the quality of the products and the efficiency of the production lines. This leads to delays, increased scrap rates and difficulties in identifying and correcting errors in production. Production management and employees often struggle to identify problems in real time and make the necessary adjustments, which ultimately affects overall productivity and product quality. With Peakboard, you can overcome these issues and optimize your production processes with accurate, real-time data from your quality control. Our interactive application for manual production data acquisition (PDA) is an effective solution for your logistics or production. Employees in quality control can enter information on inspected items directly via a user-friendly touchscreen at the workstation or on a mobile tablet. After logging in, employees are taken directly to the overview. Here they can clock in, clock out and enter breaks. An overview of individual performance data is displayed on this screen, including machine running time and product comparison. In addition, the screen provides a clear overview of the current orders, which are processed one after the other. The reasons for rejects are recorded on the second screen. If an article is free of defects, this is confirmed by pressing the “OK” button. For items with quality problems, the defects can also be specified in detail. On the third screen, the application immediately shows you the quality of the items produced, both in real time and over a longer period of time. This information helps to quickly identify problems, such as a high number of defective parts, so that production processes can be optimized immediately.

    6. Metalldetektoren

      Metalldetektoren

    7. Mico Pro

      Mico Pro

Current monitoring modularized to the maximum extent Mico Pro is the new and innovative current monitoring system from Murrelektronik. The modular system enables you to adapt systems precisely to suit specific applications – offering a favorable cost-benefit ratio while also being economical in their use of space. The patented tripping process assures optimum machine availability. Mico Pro monitors load and control currents and identifies critical moments. It signals limit loads and switches defective channels off in a targeted manner – according to the principle of “as late as possible, as early as necessary.” Mico Pro is a modular system for 12 and 24V DC operating voltages. Components can be selected for the particular application from numerous Mico Pro modules. You can select between modules with one, two or four output channels. The tripping currents are fixed (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 16 A) or can be flexibly adjusted from 1 to 10 A or from 11 to 20 A. Mico Pro has an integrated potential distribution concept for +24 (or +12) and 0V that significantly simplifies switch cabinet wiring. There are connection options for +24V and 0V on each channel. The innovate bridging system consisting of two bars and lateral spring contacts for connecting diagnostic and control signals is easy to handle. It is designed for a total current of up to 40A. All inputs and outputs of the system are provided with push-in spring clamp terminals. Great importance is attached to the diagnostic functions of Mico Pro. Each channel is equipped with an LED for status indication on the device and digital status signals can be transferred to the PLC. A channel-specific switching function via an PLC signal allows the Flex modules to switch system components on and off without any additional contactors, relays, or optocouplers. Not only short switching frequencies (of up to 10 Hz) but also longer frequencies can be realized. Mico Pro can be cascaded. This means: on a Mico channel, another Mico Pro station can be connected.
