QuaVis PLC -QuaC

QuaC - The QuaVis Controller

QuaC is the industrial controller (PLC) from QuaVis Technologies that couples visual inspection directly to mechanical action. It closes the gap between vision and the physical response on the line - with no third-party PLC in between.

Built for

Sorting, pick-and-place, actuator and robot control, timing and synchronisation between cameras, lighting, and handling. A QuaVis inspection result turns into an action on the line in real time.

Graphical programming - with or without code

QuaC can be configured through the graphical programming interface QuaCProgEdit. A program is a sequence of predefined function blocks; branches and jumps cover even complex flows.

The benefit for quality and commissioning teams: adjustments happen where the problem is visible - at the machine - without a round trip through PLC specialists.

Real-time and industrial-grade

- Linux-based controller service with real-time scheduling (SCHED_RR) for deterministic response times
- Direct interfaces to stepper motors, robots, and QuaVis vision systems
- ZeroMQ as internal messaging layer for robust machine-to-machine communication
- Sequential program structure with branches and jumps - no hidden runtime behaviour

Part of the QuaVis ecosystem

QuaC is the missing link between QuaVis vision systems and the mechanics of a complete quality-control machine. Whether you extend an existing line or build a standalone sorting or inspection cell, QuaC brings the control platform from the same supplier as the vision.

One stack, one point of contact, no integration grey zone between camera and actuator.
